Time flies! Again.

So yesterday was rather uneventful but cheer up everyone!

Went down to Cineleisure and rented a room to watch Final Destination.
I now know what genre of movies I can’t watch. Horror is nothing.
This is just eww.

Slasher gore whatever is not my thing.

We screamed like nuts!
Omg! There was a scene in the hairdresser where nothing actually happened but we thought something was gonna happened so we screamed throughout that whole part.
But when the woman stepped out of the shop and we thought the climax was over, a pebble on the ground got sucked into a lawn mower and struck her eye.

EWW MAN.

Again I reiterate: Slasher gore is not my thing.

So yeah the whole 82 minutes were spent cowering and hiding and screaming.. The free drinks were left untouched and everyone left with queasy stomachs.

Went down to The Hand Burger at 313 Somerset for dinner.
And I have to say that it’s rather disappointing considering my rather high expectations of it?

The servings were reasonable for the prices but the food isn’t great.
It doesn’t make you wanna go back there and eat again.

The place is over-staffed and the ambiance there is strange.
The black mirrors there does its job of giving the illusion of greater space area but it also makes us feel watched.
Plus the layout of the customer area and waiters standing around.. Definitely no privacy at all.

And I’m talking about minimum privacy here.

So I was given a free membership card – $1 off for every 100 points.

But what’s the point right, I’m not going back there again ever.

Soon Sanam left and we were left to loiter around at the practically empty mall.
It might be GSS but the over population of malls in Orchard just renders lesser people in the many malls.

Bought desserts at The Icing Room and sat there for awhile.
With 3 taitai-s and 3 kids – 2 girls and 1 boy.

Believe it or not, the girls were named Xin Yi and Jocelyn HAHA

The macha cake for is called Green Gold-ness or something like that and it’s too bitter for my liking..
Thick macha cream with 2 layers of sponge cake inside and a dash of cheese cream on top.
Why cheese cream!? Me no like!

The obviously mango cake is better though $5.80 is way too steep.
Mango cream on top with layers of chocolate and was-it-vanilla? sponge cake.

Hui Min’s cookie chocolate cream puff was fine but I think the crust was too crispy and tough?
Judging from the way she ate the puff.

The selling point of the cakes are it’s pretty prissy aesthetic appeal I guess.
But other than that they taste kinda ordinary to me.

Hot chocolate was not worth its price too.
It wasn’t thick enough.

Yep, but apart from the cakes, there is a special feature of the shop which lets you decorate a cake you buy!
Something which I think is super fun and meaningful to do :D

4″ or 6″, vanilla or chocolate.
$16++ and $21++ I think.

Since it was dad’s birthday yesterday and mum didn’t get a cake, I thought to myself “Why not?” right?
Furthermore there weren’t many people at all at that time of the night.

So 6″ vanilla and a tray of complimentary decorative materials it was then!

The cream words and linings were terribly difficult to do!
Controlling the curly wurly cream that oozes out is hardddd. Maintaining a steady hand is harder!

There were 2 girls to my left at first but they finished quickly then came a group of secondary school kids and a young family.
Both of them snagged my idea! But I don’t mind the latter cos they’re young children who were damn entertaining to watch.
Howeverrrr the former were doing it for their friend so their cake should be 101% original what!

HAHA ok small matter. Got carried away.

Bought dad’s present at Kinokuniya too.
Super accomplished :D

Would be giving it to him on Sunday though.

Lugged the cake all the way back to Tampines!
Quite a huge feat! Sardined MRTs and bumpy bus ride.

Showed them the cake after bathing and I think dad was damn touched?
After all the excitement died down he sat alone at the dinner table and looked at the cake for what felt like ages.
Then he kept it in the fridge. Cos we’re gonna eat it tonight woohoos!

Then again, he might have been thinking how ugly the deco was LOL
But no la, I choose to believe he was gan dong-ed!! ^^

Don’t think I could have downed anymore cake last night either.
The after effects of the movie is still haunting my appetite and the cakes from earlier on made me too bloated and nauseas.

And yes this post is super long!

I’m not involved, but you can tell me what it is what you’re angry at.

I feel most alone during exam periods.

This time I don’t even go out with anyone to study.

It’s also during this period that I subconsciously isolate myself from everyone without meaning to and I feel distant from everyone.
So much so that what I get to know from them is through reading blogs and facebook and such. And not hearing it from them telling me themselves.

And I don’t like that.

And I’m starting to tolerate things less now.
I think I’m gonna snap soon.

By then nothing’s gonna salvage anything.

There’s a poster inside of Ayabie and Nightmare on each side.
I didn’t put it up though, I didn’t even put Miyavi’s one up.
And Kyo looks way short and weird :/ Sakito is chio though :D

Anyway what really made me happy was that there was a whole page on gazette!!
Well not the WHOLE page, it’s an advertisement for their concert in yoyogi-repeated countless error (yup it’s an old issue, Aug ’08-that explains the cheapness :D)
I literally gasped and stopped breathing for like what 5 seconds?
Then reality sank in, and I started fangirling to ah bian on msn.

What made me happIER was Shou’s solo shoot.
